Getting started with BuffaloTrump Core takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps and you'll be ready to send, receive, and hold BULL like a pro.
Grab the latest Core release from our official GitHub. Verify the checksum before installing to ensure authenticity.
On first launch, Core will sync the full blockchain (about 50 GB). This may take several hours — let it run overnight.
Go to Settings → Encrypt Wallet and set a strong passphrase. This protects your funds if your device is lost or stolen.
Copy your wallet.dat file to at least two secure offline locations. This file is your keys — lose it and your BULL is gone forever.

Security
Your private key is your BULL. Never share it with anyone — no legitimate team member, exchange, or support agent will ever ask for it.
Store backups in multiple secure locations — encrypted USB drives, secure cloud storage, and physical paper copies kept offline.
Only download wallets from official BuffaloTrump channels or verified repositories. Fake wallets are a common phishing vector.
